Visitors can join other hobby bird watchers on Oregon's Central Coast and spot a few fine feathered friends at these clinics near Lincoln City.

The Lincoln City Audubon Society will feature a series of free bird watching clinics starting in July. Each two-hour clinic will begin at 9am with a brief introduction covering birding basics and species that may be seen that day, followed by a guided walk. Binoculars and guidebooks will be available, but participants should wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Planned clinics will explore Alder Island Nature Trail on July 13, The Knoll Open Space on August 10, Devils Lake State Park on September 20, Salishan Nature Trail on October 11, the Salmon River Estuary on November 9 and Siletz Bay on December 6.
