When the holidays come around on the Central Oregon Coast, Heceta Head Lighthouse hosts its Annual Victorian Christmas Open House over two weekends in December.

The 22nd annual Heceta Lightstation Victorian Christmas Open House will be open to the public from 4-7pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 9-10 and December 16-17, 2017.

Perched on a breathtaking bluff 205 feet above the sea, Heceta Head Lighthouse is one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the United States, drawing thousands of visitors each year to sense its history and enjoy its spectacular setting on the Central Oregon Coast.

During December, the site's annual Victorian Christmas Open House has become a holiday tradition for visitors and locals of all ages. The restored Queen Anne-style Keepers House, now a bed and breakfast, will glow with Christmas lights and Victorian flourishes inside and out. Musicians and carolers will add to the magic performing holiday favorites. Sample seasonal tidbits and hot drinks and, best of all, tour the lighthouse at night, a rare treat. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance each evening and the gift shop will be open for those last-minute shoppers. Admission to the Keepers House is free, but an Oregon State Parks day-use fee is required for parking. Shuttle service is available from the public parking located at Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint.

Heceta Head Lighthouse is located on the Central Oregon Coast, halfway between the towns of Florence and Yachats on US Highway 101. For more information, call (541) 547-3416 or learn more online at: Heceta Head Lighthouse Interpretive Center and Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint
