Bicyclists from around the world know about the Oregon Coast Bike Route that travels for nearly 400 miles along the coast, offering seemingly endless panoramic views. With the popularity of this scenic touring route, it's no surprise that you'll find long established coastal bike shops that offer supplies, accessories and, of course, the perfect bike to outfit you for your next touring adventure. Most of these shops also offer bike rentals, repairs, apparel and some even offer wi-fi and showers for weary travelers. It takes a minimum of about eight days to do the entire route, not counting the time you may want to spend in these shops. Whether you're touring the coast by bike or planning your trip, check out these spots for all the gear and information you need.

Scott Lee grew up in SW Washington, crossed the river—not on his
