Can't-miss spots for a day of dining out in Bandon.

BREAKFAST:
Bandon Bill's Seafood Grill
Start your day with Americana classic breakfast selections at Bandon Bill's Seafood Grill. The ready-to-eat morning buffet is an excellent value, with hot and cold favorites such as scrambled eggs, French toast, and biscuits and gravy with a side of fresh fruit. Choose a family sized table in the ocean view dining room or cozy fireside two-top. Friendly servers will make sure you're comfortable and keep the coffee coming. Bandon Bill's is located just off the beach at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock.

LUNCH:
Pacific Blues
When the salty sea breeze excites your appetite, head to Pacific Blues. Pacific Blues café and wine shop menu features organic wine and zesty vegetarian fare. Signature entrees such as the Beach Bum in Paradise plate and Italian Stuffed Red Pepper with pesto are served with salad greens and warm tortilla or lightly toasted cheese bread. Guests who just want a light bite may choose to split an appetizer with a friend, stuffed mushrooms are a treat shared under the afternoon sun at a sidewalk bistro table. Proprietor Jason Tree is happy to uncork wines by nearby Oregon Rogue and Umpqua valley vineyards, as well as regional craft beer, such as award winning MacPelican's Scottish Style Ale from Pelican Brewery. Sample from one of several organic wines offered each day, or relax with the featured glass of Our Daily Red. Like what you're sipping? Purchase wine by the bottle or order online at organicwinepress.com.

DINNER:
Alloro Wine Bar & Restaurant
Alloro Wine Bar & Restaurant is Bandon's own Italian style enoteca. Chef Jeremy Buck and partner-in-wine Lian Schmidt captivate diners with impeccableseasonal pairings. Autumn finds Buck in his garden digging heirloom potatoes and clipping zucchini blossoms or out in the woods foraging for mushrooms: Check the menu for mussels with wild matsutakes or zucchini blossoms stuffed with shrimp and basil. Local Oregon Grass Fed Beef is a perennial favorite, especially flat iron steaks with new Face Rock Creamery cheddar au gratin potatoes. The focus of Schmidt's wine list is Oregon pinot noir and Italian varietals, but she explores many regions, especially France, the Oregon Rogue Valley, and Walla Walla, Washington. Elegant meals and a casually lively atmosphere have earned Alloro a loyal year-round clientele, so reservations are recommended.
