The Haystack Rock Awareness Program announces an upcoming camp for adults on July 26, 2017. HRAP Education and Volunteer Coordinator, Lisa Habecker will lead the two-hour camp from 11am-1pm.
Participants will learn about birds like the Black Oystercatcher, the Common Murre, and everyone's favorite the beloved Tufted Puffin. An introduction to tidepool creatures will also be included. Camp will wrap-up at Public Coast Brewing, 264 E. 3rd Street in Cannon Beach.
The class will meet on the beach next to the red truck in front of Haystack Rock. Participants should dress for the weather and be prepared for being outdoors in the elements. This camp is for adults ages 21 and over. Registration is $35 and includes one drink at Public Coast Brewing.
