Between Lincoln City and Florence, you'll find seven easily accessible viewpoints you shouldn't miss when traveling the Central Oregon Coast.

Waves surge up a narrow channel in the rocky shoreline, exploding on the rocks into a fine mist and foamy cloud, then "whoosh!," a plume of vaporized water shoots out of a small hole in the rock. It's Spouting Horn at Cook's Chasm in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and it's one of those places that I cannot pass without stopping whenever I travel the Central Oregon Coast. In seven easy stops you can experience some of the best of this stretch of coast even if you only have a day, though you are likely to find it challenging to tear yourself away and will want more time to explore these amazing natural areas.
