DragonFire Gallery Offers a New Series of Sea Inspired Woodblock Art

DragonFire Gallery in Cannon Beach is now carrying the work of Pacific Northwest artist, Leslie Nan Moon. The artist’s background in fine art printmaking is the basis for a new series of sea inspired woodblocks. Moon uses texture and relief to convey the fluidity of ocean life in each hand carved piece. Distinctively framed with Teredo wood, made from lumber once inhabited by shipworms, each piece combines wood carving and acrylic painting.
