Columbia River Maritime Museum

Catch a glimpse into regional maritime history. Astoria is a must-do for families with school-aged kids learning about US and Oregon history. This coastal town keeps history alive at the Columbia River Maritime Museum through exhibits on shipwrecks and maritime events along the entrance of the Columbia River. Kids can see a cannon from the USS Shark discovered on a beach by a fellow child, tour the Lightship Columbia or watch a fun (don't tell them it's educational!) three-dimensional movie.
