February 14-16 Gorse Blossom Festival
A three-day celebration of Oregon seafood, beer and wine. Vendors fill the Old Town Marketplace on the Coquille River waterfront. Activities include wine or brew-maker dinners at local restaurants and the Bloody Mary Stroll, a movable cocktail feast. Various Locations [more info]
February 14-18 23rd Great Backyard Bird Count
Bird watchers of all ages count birds to create a real-time snapshot of where birds are. Participants are asked to count birds for as little as 15 minutes and report their sightings online. Various Locations [more info]
