Lighthouse View
Newport's Hallmark Resort offers rooms with views of Yaquina Head Lighthouse.
From most rooms at the Hallmark Resort in Newport you'll see the flashing beacon of Oregon's tallest lighthouse. The Yaquina Head Lighthouse to the north rises 162 feet above sea level and has been a signal to mariners since 1872. Each of the oceanfront guestrooms at the Hallmark offers panoramas of the ocean and walk-out balconies to enjoy the view. Georgie's Beachside Grill is their on-site restaurant, but if you don't want to take your eyes off the spectacular view, they offer room service so you don't have to. The Hallmark Resort is located at 744 SW Elizabeth (888) 448-4449.
